Comviva’s AVAN Wins mBillionth South Asia Award 2011

Comviva, the global leader in providing mobile solutions beyond VAS received another accolade as it was declared a winner in the mBillionth South Asia Awards 2011 for its pioneering work in extending voice based applications across the mobile user base with its Aggregated Voice and Video Applications Network (AVAN). The award was presented at a ceremony organized recently in New Delhi by its convener, Digital Empowerment Foundation, and sponsored by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The mBillionth Award honours excellence in mobile communications across South Asia, spread over 11 core categories. In order to make the content and services deliverable through mobile as a medium and means, Digital Empowerment Foundation formally launched the mBillionth Award South Asia in the year 2010.
